Alessandra Almanza

Orlando-based actor whose work blends physical storytelling, emotional nuance, and a deep commitment to ensemble-driven theatre. With a B.A. in Theatre Education from UTRGV and ongoing MFA training at UCF, she approaches each role with both technical precision and imaginative freedom. Her experience spans classical text, contemporary realism, and movement-based performance, allowing her to bring grounded presence and dynamic range to every project.

As a certified stage combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors, Alessandra creates choreography that is actor-safe, story-centered, and rooted in character intention. Her training includes Unarmed, Rapier & Dagger, Broadsword, and additional work in Quarterstaff and Knife. Drawing from her background in ballroom dance and physical theatre, she crafts movement that is rhythmic, precise, and emotionally driven — always prioritizing clarity, collaboration, and narrative impact.

With a foundation in Theatre Education from UTRGV and extensive graduate training at UCF, Alessandra is a passionate teaching artist dedicated to empowering students through creativity and craft. She has taught a wide range of ages and skill levels, focusing on accessibility, ensemble-building, and cultivating a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to take risks. Her classes center on curiosity, confidence, and the joy of discovering one’s own artistic voice.
